Part II experience

I am a recent Pt II graduate with 10+ experience in an office ( i am 32 and studied part time)

also i am now freelancing in what looks to be a pretty regular position.

does this count as PEDR experience or do i need to be an employee of a company to qualify?

does the mode of employment even matter and if so am i best off keeping mum about the whole thing?

cheers

Hello Ghost.

You need to work alongside an UK registered architect in order to have your Part 2 PEDR's signed off. To get these signed you need a UK registered architect mentor at each of your freelance positions. Keep in mind that you only need to show 24 months of experience, which it sounds like you should have more than covered.

I would recommend that your PEDR's cover a broad range of tasks and are reflective of your length of experience, as this will be a real strength when it comes to doing your part 3.
