OK, we've got a problem that needs some imaginative responses. A concrete road bridge about 50 years old cuts through part of our city. Underneath the bridge is a lot of space - but it's a mess and not used (except for things most people don't seem to want it used for!).
We are planning new developments close to the bridge but need examples of places where the space under a bridge , flyover, freeway or whatever you might call it has been used well.
We're thinking of all sorts of possibilities - bars, offices, restaurants, skate parks, markets...things that will add interest and life to the area and make good use of this wasted urban space. So, what we need are photos and examples of spaces under bridges being used well. Any suggestions please?
