You might notice that BD Resource has changed slightly. Our old hosting platform is no longer available so we’ve had to move the site this week. We are still resolving a few design and layout issues but these should be rectified shortly.
Some of your most recent questions or answer may have dissapeared – we lost a little bit of data during the move. If that’s the case please do ask again and thank you for bearing with us while we negotiate setting up the site again on a new system. If you have any ideas about how to improve BD Resource or spot any problems with the news site please do let us know.

Losing data doesn’t exactly foster confidence. If we’re going to put time and effort into this resource we need to know it’s not going to be for naught. How will you be avoiding such a loss of data in the future?
And a suggestion: let us create new tags (I seem to have lost the ability).
Hi needleandmortar, thanks for your comment. I can’t anticipate us needing to move to another platform now. It’s not unusual with a major migration like this to lose a little bit of data – however in this case it was simply because there was a small delay in getting the new version of BD Resource live after we’d pulled all the data off the old site. Some users who registered with false email addresses may also find some difficulty logging in as the new system hasn’t been able to verify their accounts. I’m going to investigate what’s going on with the tags. We’re having to learn as we go along with this platform, so we really appreciate users getting in touch and letting us know when they spot something we might have missed.
