What is "good design" when we consider the need to demonstrate that architects and architectural technologists bring added value to clients?
Can those practicing in the field of architecture define what is good design in its broadest meaning?
Do we just look at the idea of what makes great architecture or can we define fine something more fundamental?
Is the process of design itself something that can be sold as bringing added value when carried well?
There will be no quick answer to this one as the topic can cover concepts of what lifts a building to become an important architectural work to the social benefit that ideas such as secured by design promote as examples.
I would hope that this post gets some interesting responses!
